In the article, the authors investigate the one dimensional \((p,q)\)-Laplace equation \[ (\| u'|^{p-2}u')'+(| u'|^{q-2}u')'+\lambda u^{r-1}=0, \quad u(x)>0 \text{ in } (-1,1) \] with the boundary conditions \[ u(-1)=u(1)=0, \] where \(1<q<p<\infty\), \(1<r<\infty\) and \(\lambda\) is a parameter. They analyze the exact shape of the bifurcation curve in each of five types order relation \((p,q,r)\) and prove that there are two types of bifurcation curves that are increasing, two types that are decreasing, and one that is not monotone and turns exactly once. Let us define \(\| u\|_{\infty}\) as \(L^{\infty}\)-norm of \(u\). In addition the authors study the asymptotic structure of the normalized solution \(((u(x))/(\| u\|_{\infty}))\) as \(\| u\|_{\infty}\to\infty\).
