Let \(K\) be an algebraically closed field. We recall that a bound quiver is a pair \((Q,I)\), where \(Q\) is a quiver (i.e. oriented graph) and \(I\) is an admissible ideal in the path \(K\)-algebra \(KQ\) of \(Q\). To any bound quiver \((Q,I)\) a CW-complex \({\mathcal B}(Q,I)\) is associated in the paper in such a way that the fundamental group of \({\mathcal B}(Q,I)\) is isomorphic to the fundamental group \(\pi_1(Q,I)\) of the bound quiver \((Q,I)\). It is proved that the construction \((Q,I)\mapsto{\mathcal B}(Q,I)\) behaves well with respect to coverings \((\widetilde Q,\widetilde I)\to (Q,I)\) of bound quivers. Relations between the simplicial cohomology of a \(K\)-algebra \(R=KQ/I\) having a semi-normal basis with Hochschild cohomology, cellular cohomology of \({\mathcal B}(Q,I)\) and simplicial cohomology are studied in the paper.
