The purpose of the paper under review is to investigate the behavior of chains of Ulrich ideals. The Ulrich ideals has been studied in several papers for example [\textit{S. Goto} et al., Math. Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 156, No. 1, 137--166 (2014; Zbl 1295.13018); Nagoya Math. J. 221, 69--110 (2016; Zbl 1360.13028)]. In this paper, the authors study Ulrich ideals in one-dimensional Cohen-Macaulay local rings and they give a correspondence between Ulrich ideals and overrings.
