A Cameron-Liebler line class wit parameter \(x\) is a set of lines \(\mathcal L\) of \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\) such that \(\mathcal L\) contains \(x(q^2+q+1)\) lines and \(|\mathcal L \cap \mathcal S|=x\) for any spread \(\mathcal S\) in \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\). Trivial examples with parameter \(x=1\) are given either by the set of lines passing through a point \(P\) or by the set of lines of a plane \(\pi\) of \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\). The union of these two sets with \(P\notin \pi\) is a trivial example with parameter \(x=2\). The complement of a Cameron-Liebler line class with parametr \(x\) in \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\) is a Cameron-Liebler line class with parameter \((q^2+1)-x\) and the the central problem is to find the spectrum of the parameter \(x\), \(1\le x \le \frac{q^2+1}{2}\) for which Cameron-Liebler line classes do exist. The non existence state of the art can be found in [\textit{A. L. Gavrilyuk} and \textit{K. Metsch}, J. Comb. Theory, Ser. A 127, 224--242 (2014; Zbl 1302.51008); \textit{K. Metsch}, J. Comb. Theory, Ser. A 121, 89--93 (2014; Zbl 1284.51008)], while there have been a large number of papers on constructing non trivial Cameron-Liebler line classes when \(x=\frac{q^2+1}{2}\) or \(x=\frac{q^2-1}{2}\) (\(q\) odd). No infinite families of non-trivial classes were known with \(q\) even, except when \(q\in \{4,8,32,128\}\). In the present paper, Cameron-Liebler line classes in \(\mathrm{PG}(3, q)\) with parameter \(x =\frac{ (q + 1)^2}{3}\) for all \(q\) congruent to \(2\) modulo \(3\) are constructed. In particular, the first infinite family of Cameron-Liebler line classes in \(\mathrm{PG}(3, q)\), \(q\) an odd power of \(2\), is constructed.
