Let \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\) be the three dimensional projective space over the Galois field of \(q\) elements. A Cameron-Liebler line class \(\mathcal{L}\) is a set of lines in \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q)\) such that for any line \(\ell \in \mathrm{PG}(3,q)\) the number of lines \(m\in \mathcal{L}\) different from \(\ell\) and intersecting \(\ell\) is \((q+1)x+(q^2-1)\) if \(\ell \in \mathcal{L}\), and \((q+1)x\) if \(\ell \notin \mathcal{L}\), for some fixed integer \(x\), which is called the parameter of \(\mathcal{L}\). In this article, the authors construct a new infinite family of Cameron-Liebler line classes with parameter \(x = \frac{q^2-1}{2}\), \(q\equiv 5,9 \pmod {12}\). For \(q=3^{2n}\) they also provide the first infinite family of affine two-intersection sets, starting from the Cameron-Liebler line classes previously obtained. The new Cameron-Liebler line classes are obtained as union of particular orbits of lines under a prescribed automorphism group.
