\textit{J. Liu} and \textit{Y.-G. Shi} [Result. Math. 75, No. 3, Paper No. 90, 15 p. (2020; Zbl 1440.37033)] studied topological conjugacy between monotone interval maps with a single discontinuity. The present paper considers topological conjugacy between monotone interval maps with finitely many discontinuities. This is done by introducing the concept of symbolic vector for discontinuous mappings. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of conjugacies are found as well as explicit expressions for the conjugacies. Lastly, the authors apply their results to study conjugacies between monotone generalized Lorenz maps.
