The authors consider the case of periodically distributed ball-type domains that host reaction and diffusion. Their boundaries are allowed to ``move freely'' in an uniform fashion due to the imposed reactive boundary processes (dissolution and precipitation). The normal velocity of the moviong surfaces is governed by an ODE. After fixing the moving boundaries, one proves the weak solvability of the problem, and finally, one performs the passage to the homogenization limit.
