The motivation of this paper comes from the work by \textit{R. Krikorian} et al. [Commun. Math. Phys. 358, No. 1, 81--100 (2018; Zbl 1402.37034)] on quasi-periodically forced circle flows \[ \begin{cases} \dot\phi=\varrho+f(\phi,\theta),\\ \dot\theta=\omega:=(1,\alpha), \end{cases} \] where it is established that such flows are \(C^\infty\) rotations reducible under the assumption that \(f\) is analytic in \((\phi,\theta)\in{\mathbb T}\times{\mathbb T}^2\) with \({\mathbb T}={\mathbb R}\setminus{\mathbb Z}\), the basic frequency \(\omega\) is not super-Liouvillean and \(\rho_f:=\rho(\varrho+f(\phi,\theta))\) is Diophantine w.r.t. \(\omega\). Here \(\rho_f\) is the fibered rotation number of the system. This paper improves the above result assuming the following conditions: The regularity of \(f\) is weakened to be ultra-differentiable in \(\theta\), \(f\) is still analytic in \(\phi\), while the pair \(\omega,\rho_f\) satisfies the original assumptions. The author is able to prove that the above flow still defines reducible \(C^\infty\) rotations, thus explaining several phenomena in mathematical physics, as discussed in [loc. cit.]. The given proof is based on a modified KAM theorem, where the the problem is formulated in terms of ultra-differentiable topology.
