In this paper is investigated the boundary value problem(BVP) \[ -U^{\prime\prime}(x)= \frac{\lambda}{(1-U(x))^2\left(1+\alpha \int_{-1}^1(1-U(y))^{-1}dy\right)^2},\quad x\in (-1, 1), \] \[ \pm U^{\prime}(\pm 1)+U(\pm 1)= 0, \] where \(\lambda\) and \(\alpha\) are real parameters. The authors prove that for each \(\alpha\geq 0\) there exists a constant \(\lambda^*=\lambda^*(\alpha)\in (0, \infty)\) such that the considered BVP has exactly two solutions for \(\lambda \in (0, \lambda^*)\), a unique solution for \(\lambda=\lambda^*\), and no solutions for \(\lambda>\lambda^*\).
