The authors consider nonautonomous three-dimensional Kelvin-Voigt equations for fluids with ``fading memory'' in bounded domains. This article presents the long-term dynamics in the sense of finite-dimensional attractors, and an estimate for the number of determining modes. It is interesting to note that the exponential attractor is studied using the squeezing property introduced by \textit{O. Ladyzhenskaya} [Attractors for semigroups and evolution equations. Cambridge etc.: Cambridge University Press (1991; Zbl 0755.47049)].
