    Recall that a Banach space \(X\) is said to have the \textit{strong diameter two property (SD2P)} if every convex combination of slices has diameter two. This property has been implicitly used since the beginning of the 2000s, but was formally defined in [\textit{T. Abrahamsen} et al., J. Convex Anal. 20, No. 2, 439--452 (2013; Zbl 1274.46027)]. Observe that it was proved in [\textit{J. Becerra Guerrero} et al., J. Funct. Anal. 266, No. 4, 2424--2435 (2014; Zbl 1297.46011)] that a Banach space \(X\) has the SD2P if, and only if, \(X^*\) is octahedral. Recall that a Banach space \(X\) is \textit{octahedral} if for every finite-dimensional subspace \(Y\) of \(X\) and every \(\varepsilon>0\) there exists \(x\in S_X\) such that \[\Vert y+\lambda x\Vert\geq (1-\varepsilon)(\Vert y\Vert+\vert \lambda\vert)\] holds for every \(y\in Y\) and every \(\lambda\in\mathbb R\). Very recently, the authors of the paper under review have worked in a transfinite version of octahedrality replacing ``\(Y\) finite dimensional'' with ``\(Y\) with density character \(\leq \kappa\)''. In the paper under review, the authors introduce a transfinite version for the SD2P, namely, SD2P\(_\kappa\). The rest of the paper is devoted to obtain examples of spaces with the SD2P\(_\kappa\) and to obtain transfinite versions of known results for the SD2P which justifies that this notion of transfinite SD2P is natural in a transfinite context. To highlight the main results of the paper: \begin{itemize} \item[1.] (Theorem 3.2) A Banach space \(X\) has the SD2P\(_\kappa\) if, and only if, \(X^*\) is (\(<\kappa\))-octahedral. \item[2.] (Section 4) The authors characterise when \(X\oplus_N Y\) has the SD2P\(_\kappa\) for an absolute norm \(N\). \item[3.] (Proposition 5.1 and Remark 5.8) \(X\widehat{\otimes}_\pi Y\) has the SD2P\(_\kappa\) if \(X\) and \(Y\) have the SD2P\(_\kappa\), but the result is not true if one requires just \(X\) to have the SD2P\(_\kappa\) . \item[4.] (Section 6) Examples of Banach spaces with transfinite SD2P\(_\kappa\) are given in the class of \(C(K)\) spaces and \(L_1(\mu,X)\). \end{itemize}
