Let \(D\) be a domain in \(\mathbb{C}^{n\text{}}\) and \(\mathcal{O}L^{2}(D)\) the Bergman space of \(D ,\) that is the vector space of those holomorphic functions on \(D\) that also belong to \(L^{2}(D) .\) \textit{J. J. O. O. Wiegerinck} [Math. Z. 187, 559--562 (1984; Zbl 0534.32001)], proved that for \(n =1\) and for any domain \(D \subset \mathbb{C} ,\) either \(\mathcal{O}L^{2}(D)\) is trivial or has infinite dimension. The main theorem of the article is a generalization of the Wiegerinck theorem in the following form: Let \(E\) be a Hermitian, holomorphic bundle over \(\mathbb{P}^{1}\) and \(D \subset \mathbb{P}^{1}\) an arbitrary domain. Then the space \(\mathcal{O}L^{2}(E\vert_{D})\) of holomorphic \(L^{2}\) sections of \(E\) over \(D\) is either equal to the space \(H^{0}(\mathbb{P}^{1} ,E)\) of holomorphic sections of \(E\) over the whole \(\mathbb{P}^{1}\) (always finite dimensional) or it has infinite dimension. Gallagher} et al. in [Matematica 1, No. 3, 666--684 (2022; Zbl 1504.32013)] and in [``On the dimension of bundle-valued Bergman spaces on compact Riemann surfaces'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:2206.07120}].
