In this paper, the authors proved the existence, uniqueness, and exponential stability for a Kirchhoff-type model which is a damped nonlinear wave equation defined in the whole hyperbolic space \(\mathbb{B}^N\). Their strategy consisted of changing the problem into a singular problem defined in the unitary ball of \(\mathbb{R}^N\) endowed with the Euclidean metric and using the Faedo-Galerkin method to control the singularities. Based on this strategy, a surprising result was also provided that the energies associated to this problem decay exponentially. The main tool to reach this result is to combine the classical Nakao's techniques with the use of Hardy inequality.
