The authors discuss a Filippov-type model predator-prey system. The dynamics of such system is more complex as compared to other counterparts. The subsystem has regular and virtual equilibrium points. Moreover, the tangent points, boundary equilibrium and pseudo-equilibrium are obtained on the discontinuity boundary. By using Filippov's convex method, the authors obtain the sliding motion. The sliding bifurcation analysis and boundary equilibrium bifurcation analysis are performed. Furthermore, its dynamics is discussed using Utkin's equivalent control method for the parameter space. The considered Filippov system admits a pseudo-equilibrium only if the virtual equilibrium of two subsystems coexist. The authors draw a bifurcation diagram to show the regions of various equilibrium points. Numerial simulations are performed for illustration.
