Suppose that \(\Omega\subset\mathbb R^2\) is a bounded domain with connected Lipschitz boundary. Assume that \(\partial\Omega\) is decomposed into two nonempty relatively open, adjacent, nonoverlapping parts \(\Gamma_D\) and \(\Gamma_N\). Let \(\alpha >0\) be a constant. It is proved that there exists a unique solution \((u,p)\in W^{1,2}(\Omega )^2 \times L^2(\Omega)\) of the mixed problem for the Brinkman system \(\Delta u-\alpha u-\nabla p=f\), \(\nabla \cdot u=0\) in \(\Omega\), \(u=g\) on \(\Gamma_D\), \(T(u,p)n+\lambda u=h\) on \(\Gamma_N\). Here \(\lambda \equiv 0\) or \(\lambda\) is a bounded symmetric matrix function satisfying some positivity condition. Then the problem for the Darcy-Forchheimer-Brinkman system \(\Delta u-\alpha u-\beta u\cdot \nabla u-\nabla p=f\), \(\nabla \cdot u=0\) with the same boundary condition is studied.
