      Let \(\mu_{b,D,\{n_j\}}\) be the homogeneous Moran measure on the real line \(\mathbb{R}\) generated by the infinite convolution product of the form \[ \mu_{b,D,\{n_j\}} = \underset{k = 1}{\overset{\infty}{\ast}} \delta_{b^{-(\sum_{j=1}^k n_j) D}} \] in the weak*-topology. Here, \(2\leq b\in \mathbb{N}\), \(D\) is a finite subset of \(\mathbb{Z}\), \(\{n_j\}_{j=1}^\infty\subset\mathbb{N}\) a sequence, and \(\delta_D\) the equi-distributed finite discrete measure \[ \delta_D = \frac{1}{\# D}\,\sum_{d\in D} \delta_d. \] The authors prove the following theorem: Let \(2\leq b\in \mathbb{N}\) and \(D\) and \(C\) two finite subsets of \(\mathbb{Z}\) with \(\# D = \# C\). If \((b^{-1}D, C)\) is a compatible pair then \(\mu_{b,D,\{n_j\}}\) is a spectral measure for any positive integer sequence \(\{n_j\}_{j=1}^\infty\). This result generalizes that of \textit{I. Łaba} and \textit{Y. Wang} [J. Funct. Anal. 193, No. 2, 409--420 (2002; Zbl 1016.28009)] and answers a conjecture of \textit{Y.-S. Fu} and \textit{Z.-X. Wen} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 430, No. 1, 572--584 (2015; Zbl 1316.28008)] in the positive.
