Uniformization of compact complex manifolds by Anosov homomorphisms (Q2232156)

The authors study complex structures on compact manifolds that arise as quotients of domains in complex flag varieties by Anosov subgroups. The central question they consider is uniformization, that is, determining which complex structures on these smooth manifolds arise as a quotient of such a domain in the flag variety. The authors obtain infinitesimal and local uniformization results in cases where the Anosov subgroups have limit sets of sufficiently small Hausdorff dimension. The prototype for this program is the classical Bers Simultaneous Uniformization Theorem which goes back to 1960. The formulations are rather long and involved, therefore we cannot reproduce them in a short review.
