The paper deals with the equation \[ (-\Delta)^s u +u=u^p, \] with fractional parameter \(s\in (0,1)\) in the subcritical range of \(p\). It is proved that if \(s\) is close to \(1\) then there exist a nondegenerate minimizer (being unique up to translations).
