      The following nonlinear system with piecewise constant argument of generalized type (DEPCAGs) is considered: \begin{align*} x'(t) &= A(t)x(t) + A_0(t)x(\gamma(t)) + f(t, x(t), x(\gamma(t))),\\ y'(t) &= B(t)y(t) + B_0(t)y(\gamma(t)) + g(t, x(t), x(\gamma(t))), \\ z'(t) &= C(t)z(t) + C_0(t)z(\gamma(t)) + \varphi(t, z(t), z(\gamma(t))) + \psi(t, x(t), y(t), x(\gamma(t)), y(\gamma(t))), \end{align*} where \(t\in\mathbb{R}\), \(x(t)\in\mathbb{R}^{n_1}\), \(y(t)\in\mathbb{R}^{n_2}\), \(z(t)\in\mathbb{R}^{n_3}\), \(n_1 + n_2 + n_3 = n\), \(A(t), A_0(t), B(t), B_0(t), C(t)\) and \(C_0(t)\) are square matrices, \(f: \mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}^{n_1} \times\mathbb{R}^{n_1}\to\mathbb{R}^{n_1}\), \(g: \mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}^{n_1} \times\mathbb{R}^{n_1}\to\mathbb{R}^{n_2}\), \(\varphi: \mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}^{n_3} \times\mathbb{R}^{n_3}\to\mathbb{R}^{n_3}\), \(\psi: \mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}^{n_1} \times\mathbb{R}^{n_2}\times\mathbb{R}^{n_1} \times\mathbb{R}^{n_2}\to\mathbb{R}^{n_3}\) and \(\gamma: \mathbb{R}\to\mathbb{R}\) with \(\gamma(t) = \xi_j \in [t_j, t_{j+1}]\) for \(t\in [t_j, t_{j+1})\). Under suitable (but lengthy) assumptions, it is proved that the above nonlinear system and its linear system \begin{align*} x'(t) &= A(t)x(t) + A_0(t)x(\gamma(t)),\\ y'(t) &= B(t)y(t) + B_0(t)y(\gamma(t)), \\ z'(t) &= C(t)z(t) + C_0(t)z(\gamma(t)) \end{align*} are topologically conjugate. Moreover, when the system is \(\omega\)-periodic with respect to \(t\), then the equivalent function \(H(t, x)\) is also \(\omega\)-periodic with respect to \(t\). The results extend and improve the available results in literature.
