The generalized Oldroyd-B model in the three-dimensional space has attracted the attention of researchers in Rheology. This model characterizes physically relevant viscoelastic flows. The governing equations are highly non-linear and challenging. An interesting aspect of establishing the global strong solutions of such fluids in the three-dimensional has been investigated. This generalizes the previous results obtained for the two-dimensional space. An innovative technique of transferring dissipation from stress components to the velocity field is used in deriving the result. The paper makes an interesting reading.
