The authors solve the \(L_p\) Minkowski problem for \(p<0\) in dimension 2 which is reduced to \[ u''+u=\frac{g(\theta)}{u^{1-p}}, \quad u\geq 0 \text{ on } S, \eqno (1) \] where \(S\) is the unit circle in \(\mathbb{R}^2\) and \(g\) is a Lebesgue integrable on \(S\), nonnegative nontrivial \(\frac{2\pi}{k}\)-periodic function with \(k>2\). The existence of a positive \(\frac{2\pi}{k}\)-periodic solution of (1) in the distributional sense is proved. Further, the Blaschke-Santaló inequality for such \(g\) is proved and an asymptotic behaviour of the solution of (1) is discussed. Finally, the existence result for the Orlicz-Minkowski problem \[ u''+u=\frac{g(\theta)}{u^{1-p}}+\frac{\lambda}{u^{1-\beta}}, \quad u\geq 0 \;\text{on}\;S, \eqno (1) \] where \(\beta >p>2\), \(\lambda >0\), is proved. The proof relies on the control theory for singular elliptic equations.
