In 2007, the mixed joint universality for the pair of the Riemann zeta-function and the Hurwitz zeta-function was introduced by \textit{H. Mishou} [Lith. Math. J. 47, No. 1, 32--47 (2007; Zbl 1151.11341)], and J. Steuding and J. Sanders independently. Recall that ``mixed joint universality'' means that we study the simultaneous approximation of the pair (or more general tuple) of analytic functions fulfilling certain conditions by the pair of two different types of zeta-functions (having an Euler product representation and without it). The author shows that the pair of such analytic functions can be approximated by the discrete shifts of the Riemann \(\zeta(s)\) and the Hurwitz \(\zeta(s,\alpha)\) (with transcendental parameter \(\alpha\)) zeta-functions, when the imaginary parts of complex variable \(s\) takes values from the sequence of imaginary parts of non-trivial zeroes \(\gamma_n\) of \(\zeta(s)\) and positive common difference \(h\) of arithmetic progression. As well, the author considers the composite discrete mixed joint universality under above mentioned conditions for the continuous operator \(F: H(D)^2\to H(D)\) satisfying some additional conditions, and merging into one tuple the functions \(\zeta(s)\) and \(\zeta(s,\alpha)\). As application of mixed joint discrete universality (or composite universality) property, the number of zeroes in such cases are studied.
