    The existence of non-negative global bounded classical solutions to the attraction-repulsion chemotaxis system \begin{align*} \partial_t u & = \mathrm{div}\big( \nabla u - \chi u\nabla v + \xi u \nabla w \big) + f(u) \text{ in }(0,\infty)\times\Omega, \\ \tau_1 \partial_t v & = \Delta v - \alpha_1 v + \beta_1 u\text{ in }(0,\infty)\times\Omega, \\ \tau_2 \partial_t w & = \Delta w - \alpha_2 w + \beta_2 u\text{ in }(0,\infty)\times\Omega, \end{align*} supplemented with homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions and non-negative initial conditions \((u_0,\tau_1 v_0,\tau_2 w_0)\in C^\theta(\bar{\Omega})\times W^{1,\infty}(\Omega,\mathbb{R}^2)\), \(\theta\in (0,1)\), is investigated. Here, \(\Omega\) is a smooth bounded domain of \(\mathbb{R}^N\), \(N\ge 3\), \((\chi,\xi,\alpha_1,\alpha_2,\beta_1,\beta_2)\in (0,\infty)^6\), \((\tau_1,\tau_2)\in \{0,1\}^2\), and the nonlinearity \(f\) is of logistic type and includes a nonlocal term \[ f(u) = u^\sigma \left( a_0 - a_1 u - a_2 \int_\Omega u^\beta dx \right), \] with \(\sigma\ge 1\), \(\beta\ge 1\), and \((a_0,a_1,a_2)\in [0,\infty)^3\). When \(\tau_1=\tau_2=0\), it is shown that one of the following three conditions on the parameters guarantees the existence of a non-negative global bounded classical solution: \begin{align*} & \sigma\in \left( 2, 1+ \frac{2\beta}{N} \right), \\ & \sigma= 2 < 1 + \frac{2\beta}{N}\text{ and } \chi - \frac{a_0}{\beta_1} \le \frac{\beta_2-\alpha_2}{\beta_1}\xi, \\ & \sigma\in \left( \frac{N+3}{2} - \beta,2 \right). \end{align*} A similar result is obtained when \(\tau_1=\tau_2=1\), \(\beta=1\), and \(a_1\) is sufficiently large compared to \((\chi,\xi,\beta_1,\beta_2)\) and when \(\tau_1=1\), \(\tau_2=0\), \(\beta=1\), and \(a_1\) is sufficiently large compared to \((\chi,\beta_1)\). In all cases, the proofs rely on energy-like estimates. Besides boundedness, no additional information on the asymptotic behaviour of solutions seems to be provided.
