In the present note the author provides some bounds on single-point and multi-point Seshadri constants for ample line bundles on hyperelliptic surfaces. Let us recall that the single-point Seshadri constant of a nef line bundle on a smooth projective variety \(X\) at a given point \(x \in X\) is the real number \[ \epsilon(L,x) = \inf \bigg\{ \frac{LC}{\text{mult}_{x} C} : x\in C \bigg\}, \] where the infimum is taken over all irreducible curves passing through \(x\). The global Seshadri constant of \(L\) is defined \[ \epsilon(L) = \inf_{x \in X} \epsilon(L,x). \] Finally, let \(x_{1},\dots, x_{r}\) be pairwise distinct points. Then the multi-point Seshadri constant of \(L\) at \(x_{1},\dots, x_{r}\) is the real number \[ \epsilon(L, x_{1},\dots, x_{r}) = \inf \bigg\{ \frac{LC}{\sum_{i=1}^{r} \text{mult}_{x_{i}} C}: \{x_{1},\dots, x_{r}\} \cap C \neq 0\bigg\}. \] A hyperelliptic surface \(S\) is a surface with Kodaira dimension equal to \(0\) and irregularity \(q(S) = 1\). Those surfaces were classified at the beginning of \(20\)th century by Bagnera and de Franchis, and independently by Enrques and Severi, and we know that there are seven non-isomorphic types. Moreover, \textit{F. Serrano} in [Math. Z. 203, No. 3, 527--533 (1990; Zbl 0722.14023)] provided a characterization of hyperelliptic surfaces in the language of the group \(\mathrm{NS}(S)\). The main result of the note is the following. Theorem 1. Let \(S\) be a hyperelliptic surface. Let \(L\) be an ample line bundle of type \((a,b)\). Then \[ \epsilon(L) \geq \min \{a,b\}. \] Moreover, if \(S\) is a hyperelliptic surfaces of the first type (according to Serrano's characterization), then \(\epsilon(L) = \min \{a,b\}\). Another result provides a lower bound for Seshadri constant at \(r\) very general points on hyperelliptic surfaces, which is a direct consequence of [\textit{B. Harbourne} and \textit{J. Roé}, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 212, No. 3, 616-627 (2008; Zbl 1132.14004)]. Theorem 2. Let \(S\) be a hyperelliptic surface and \(L\) an ample line bundle on \(S\). Then \[ \epsilon(L, x_{1},\dots, x_{r}) \geq \sqrt{\frac{L^{2}}{r}}\sqrt{1 - \frac{1}{8r}} \] for \(r\geq 2\).
