Using the integral representation method and the monomiality principle (see e.g.[\textit{G. Dattoli}, Advanced special functions and applications. Proceedings of the workshop, Melfi, Italy, May 9-12, 1999. Rome: Aracne Editrice. Proc. Melfi Sch. Adv. Top. Math. Phys. 1, 147--164 (2000; Zbl 1022.33006)]) the authors introduce some new generalized form of the Gegenbauer polynomials. In the second part of the paper they introduce a mixed Hermite-Gegenbauer and the Laguerre-Gegenbauer polynomials by using the operational identities associated with the generalized Hermite and Laguerre polynomials of two variables.
