Let \(H\) be the four-dimensional Sweedler Hopf algebra over an algebraically closed field of characteristic not two, generated by \(g\) and \(h\), \(g\) group-like, \(h\) \((1,g)\)-skew primitive with relations \(g^2=1\), \(h^2=0\), \(hg=-gh\), and let \(D(H)\) be its Drinfeld double. The Green ring of \(D(H)\) is the free abelian group with basis the isomorphism classes of finite-dimensional indecomposable \(D(H)\)-modules, with multiplication given by decomposing tensor products. The author had previously determined the indecomposable \(D(H)\)-modules [Commun. Algebra 33, No. 8, 2809-2825 (2005; Zbl 1081.16039)]. In the lengthy Section 3 of the paper under review, he obtains the decomposition into indecomposables of the tensor product of indecomposables. This is somewhat a case-by-case analysis, since the indecomposables are arranged by their Loewy lengths. Then he gives an infinite set of generators of the Green ring of \(D(H)\), with an infinite set of relations. These are too cumbersome to describe here, but we note that it follows from the author's analysis that this Green ring cannot be finitely generated.
