Multiplier bialgebras in braided monoidal categories. (Q479784)

The authors introduce the concept of multiplier bimonoid (or bialgebra) in a braided monoidal category. This theory generalizes the theory of bimonoids (these are unital ones) in a braided monoidal category and multiplier bialgebras over a field considered by the first author et al. [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 367, No. 12, 8681-8721 (2015; Zbl 1343.16029)]. The concept of multiplier bicomonad on a monoidal category \(\mathcal C\) and the category of comodules over a multiplier bicomonad are introduced. This category of comodules is shown to be monoidal lifting the monoidal structure of \(\mathcal C\). From this, using the induced functors, it is derived that for any regular multiplier bimonoid in a braided monoidal category, this monoidal structure can be lifted to the category of comodules over the bimonoid. In the last section, similar results are obtained for the category of modules over a regular multiplier bimonoid.
