The paper under review is a new step in the program started by the authors to study generalizations of Hopf algebras, along with their categories of representations. More precisely, the authors begin by introducing the notion of regular weak multiplier bimonoid (Section \(2\)), a generalization of regular weak multiplier bialgebras to braided monoidal categories. In Section \(3\) they study the base objects and show that they admit coseparable comonoid structure. The category of modules over a regular weak multiplier bimonoid is defined in Section \(4\), where the authors show that this category is monoidal. Section \(5\) deals with the uniqueness of the regular weak bimonoid structure with given multiplication and fusion morphisms, and with the characterization of weak bimonoids among weak multiplier bimonoids. Finally, in Section \(6\) the authors study the particular case when the braided monoidal category is also closed.
