In a joint paper by the author, Mackaay and Pan [\textit{M. Mackaay} et al., Math. Z. 277, No. 1--2, 401--479 (2014; Zbl 1321.17010)], a new family of algebras, called web algebras and here denoted by \(K_S\), where \(S\) is a sign string, have been introduced as an \(\mathfrak{sl}_3\)-analogue of Khovanov's arc algebras. In [loc. cit.], the structure and the representation theory of the algebras \(K_S\) had been extensively studied. It was proved among other results that they are graded cellular algebras. This was obtained by means of an abstract Morita equivalence. In the present paper an explicit cellular basis is provided. The proof involves non-trivial combinatorics of \(\mathfrak{sl}_3\)-webs. The \(\mathfrak{sl}_2\)-case had been dealt with by \textit{J. Brundan} and \textit{C. Stroppel} [Mosc. Math. J. 11, No. 4, 685--722 (2011; Zbl 1275.17012)], with techniques that could not be easily carried over to the case of general \(\mathfrak{sl}_N\)-web algebras. According to the author, the present approach could be generalized to the case of \(\mathfrak{sl}_N\)-web algebras, modulo non-trivial combinatorics of \(\mathfrak{sl}_N\)-webs.
