In this paper the authors are concerned with partial regularity theory for elliptic systems and nonlinear potential theory of possibly degenerate equations. Namely, they find a potential theoretic version of the \(\epsilon\)-regularity criteria that give regularity of solutions of elliptic systems. They obtain criteria that cover the non homogeneous case and give back, as a particular case, the homogeneous one. After the necessary technical preliminaries, in Sections 3 \& 4 they implement a local linearization procedures that gives the desired partial regularity. In particular, special care is given to decay estimates for the excess functional. Then, it is special care of the authors to check that the estimates give back the previously known homogeneous case. After careful control of some constants needed in iteration procedure, the authors obtain their results by using compactness lemmas of harmonic approximation type. Once these results are obtained, in Section 5 they start combining excess decay estimates in order to get BMO and VMO estimates for the gradient of solutions. The paper ends proving some technical results based on the VMO regularity criteria established in Section 5.
