This paper presents a three-link robotic model which is intended for educational aims in robotic and control classes. The last link is movable, so that different robot configurations can be used. Three motors drive these three links, and six sensors read the current positions and velocity for each link to be used in the feedback control loop. The robot can be controlled using the PID controller or a digital controller. Students using this robotic model get the chance to apply theoretical background and simulation programs in practice.
