The Wigner global wave front set in spaces of tempered ultradistributions (Q6039234)

The author introduces a new notion of global wave front set in the framework of generalized Gelfand-Shilov classes. Relevant reference is [\textit{C. Boiti} et al., Monatsh. Math. 188, No. 2, 199--246 (2019; Zbl 1407.35003)], where the Gabor wave front set was defined in spaces of ultradifferentiable functions by using the STFT (short-time Fourier transform). In the present paper the STFT is replaced by the cross-Tao-Wigner transform, cf. [\textit{P. Boggiatto} et al., Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 362, No. 9, 4955--4981 (2010; Zbl 1200.47064)]. The main result is a precise link between Gabor and Wigner wave front sets. Several examples are provided and an equivalent definition is given in terms of Gabor frames. A similar notion for Schwartz spaces is in [\textit{E. Cordero} and \textit{L. Rodino}, Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 58, 85--123 (2022; Zbl 1485.94017)], involving the so-called ghost frequencies.
