A study on decay mild solutions for damped elastic systems in Banach spaces (Q6049531)

This paper studies the existence of mild solutions and the decay of mild solutions for a semilinear damped elastic system in Banach spaces. The authors investigate the existence of solutions by virtue of a fixed point theorem and operator semigroup theory without the hypothesis of compactness on the semigroup. The results obtained in this paper improve and generalize some existing results and can be applied to equations with practical applications, such as nonlinear vibrations of structural damping elastic beams. It has high academic significance and value.
