The authors prove a viability result for differential inclusions involving the Stieltjes derivative with respect to a left-continuous nondecreasing function with time dependent state constraints, instead of the usual derivative. They show the existence of \(g\)-absolutely continuous solutions to the Cauchy Stieltjes viable set-valued problem \[ \begin{cases} x'_g(t)\in F(t,x(t)), \ \mu_g \, -\, a.e.\, t \in [0,1),\\ x(t)\in K(t), \mbox{ for every } t\in [0,1],\\ x(0)=x_0\in K(0), \end{cases} \] where \(g : [0, 1] \to \mathbb{R}\) is a left-continuous nondecreasing function, \(\mu_g\) is the Lebesgue-Stieltjes measure induced by \(g\), and \(F:[0,1]\times \mathbb{R}^d\to \mathcal{P}(\mathbb{R}^d)\) and \(K:[0,1]\to\mathcal{P}(\mathbb{R}^d)\) are set-valued maps. Then, in the particular case where the state constraint is a tube, a Filippov-type lemma is deduced.
