Hyers-Ulam stability of polynomial equations (Q610879)

Summary: We prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the polynomial equation \(a_{n}x^{n}+a_{n - 1}x^{n - 1}+ \dots +a_{1}x+a_{0}=0\). We give an affirmative answer to a problem posed by \textit{Y. Li} and \textit{L. Hua} [Banach J. Math. Anal. 3, No. 2, 86--90, electronic only (2009; Zbl 1192.39022)].
