Let \(K\) be a global field and let \(X\) be a homogeneous space of a (smooth connected) reductive group \(G\) over \(K\). Suppose that the geometric stabilizers of points in \(X\) are connected. When \(K\) is a number field, it is known that the Brauer-Manin obstruction controls the failure of Hasse principle, weak and strong approximation for \(X\), by works of Borovoi, Demarche, et al. The paper under review considers the case where \(K\) is a global field of positive characteristic. Under the assumption that the geometric stabilizers of \(X\) are \textit{reductive}, the authors prove that the arithmetic of \(X\) is controlled by the Brauer-Manin obstruction as in the number field case. The proofs in the present paper are by no means easy adaptions of the arguments in the number field case. New ingredients are needed to treat several difficult subtleties. In fact, one has to use the Poitou-Tate duality for complextes of tori in the positive characteristic case, as established in an earlier paper by the same authors [J. Ec. Polytech., Math. 7, 831--870 (2020; Zbl 1483.11067)]. For the main result on the Hasse principle, some work needs to be done to obtain a certain compatibility between Brauer-Manin and Poitou-Tate pairings. For the results about weak and strong approximation, the authors define a new abelianization map, and prove an intricate compatibility formula as a key ingredient in the abelianizations techniques they need. It is also worth mentioning that in the exact sequence describing the Brauer-Manin obstruction to strong approximation, there is an addition term, which reflects the fact that the global reciprocity map is not surjective in the function field case.
