\textit{S. M. Gusein-Zade} et al. [Funct. Anal. Appl. 32, No. 2, 93--99 (1998; Zbl 0933.32003); translation from Funkt. Anal. Prilozh. 32, No. 2, 26--35 (1998); NATO Sci. Ser. II, Math. Phys. Chem. 21, 279--304 (2001; Zbl 0991.32019)] generalized Milnor's fibration theorem to meromorphic functions and defined their Milnor fibers. They also obtained a formula for their monodromy zeta functions. In contrast to Milnor fibers of holomorphic functions, the geometric structures of those of meromorphic functions look much more complicated. The authors of the present paper introduce meromorphic nearby cycle functors and study their functorial properties. They apply them to monodromies of meromorphic functions in various situations. They obtain combinatorial descriptions of reduced Hodge spectra and Jordan normal forms of these functors.
