The authors are interested in studying a broad class of complete Hamiltonian integrable systems, namely the ones whose associated Lagrangian fibration is complete and has non-compact fibres. In order to get a similar result as the one in the compact or simply-connected case they need to focus on the so-called complete Lagrangian fibrations. The authors study some properties of a new family of pseudo-Kähler metrics, introduced by them [J. Geom. Anal. 34, No. 4, Paper No. 116, 42 p. (2024; Zbl 1548.53104)], defined on the \(SL(3,\mathbb{R})\)-Hitchin component of the torus. This family of metrics can be restricted to the deformation space of properly convex \(\mathbb{RP}^2\)-structures on the torus, which embeds as an open but not closed connected smooth manifold in the \(SL(3,\mathbb{R})\)-character variety. First, the authors show that the aforementioned deformation space has the structure of a complete Hamiltonian integrable system. Using the theory of complete Lagrangian fibrations, they show that two hamiltonian functions associated with two group actions on the system can be taken as action variables. As a general result, it's shown that on a broad class of hamiltonian systems the associated lagrangian fibration is complete. Finally, the authors prove that, under suitable assumptions by choosing \(f(t)=-kt\), \(k>0\), the integrals of motion can be taken as action coordinates for the hamiltonian system; the connected component of the identity of the isometry group is isomorphic to \(\mathbb{P}SL(2,\mathbb{R})\times S^1\) and, as a consequence, they deduce the expression of an arbitrary isometry of the space. As an application they find global Darboux coordinates for a new family of symplectic forms \(\omega_f\), parametrized by smooth functions \(f:[0,+\infty[\longrightarrow]-\infty,0]\), defined on the deformation space of properly convex \(\mathbb{RP}^2\)-structures on the torus. Such a symplectic form is part of a family of pseudo-Kähler metrics \((g_f,\textbf{I},\omega_f)\) defined on \(\mathcal{B}_0(T^2)\) and introduced by the authors.
