Elliptic problems with nonlocal boundary conditions and Feller semigroups (Q690548)

This monograph is based on the author's doctoral dissertation and is concerned with two related aspects: the solvability and smoothness of linear differential equations of elliptic type with nonlocal boundary conditions and the existence of Feller semigroups in the multidimensional diffusion processes setting. The volume contains a short introduction followed by six chapters and an extensive reference list. Chapter 1 deals with nonlocal elliptic problems with nonlinear transformations of variables. Chapters 2 and 3 are concerned with strong solutions of nonlocal elliptic problems in plane angles or bounded domains. Chapters 4 and 5 deal with existence and regularity of generalized solutions for nonlocal elliptic problems. Chapter 6 is concerned with Feller semigroups and two-dimensional diffusion processes.
