The authors continue their study of optimal and sub-optimal Hankel norm approximation problems [see \textit{A. J. Sasane} and \textit{R. Curtain}, Integral Equations Oper. Theory 39, No. 1, 98-126 (2001; Zbl 0990.93021)], considering in the paper under review a class of infinite-dimensional systems with an exponentially stable analytic semigroup, an unbounded input operator, and a bounded output operator and with finite-dimensional input and output spaces. An explicit parameterization of all solutions is given in terms of the system parameters; it is shown that all solutions of the problem can be obtained in terms of a solution to a \(J\)-spectral factorization (the Ball-Helton approach). An extended version of the paper is available at \url{http://www/math.rug.nl/~amols/index.html}.
