The authors study existence and multiplicity of weak solutions for problems governed by a double phase operator with variable exponents depending also on the gradient of the unknown function and in unbounded domains. For this reason as a first step an appropriate continuous and compact embeddings for a new class of Musielak-Orlicz-Sobolev spaces are proved.
