Let (\(\mathcal{X}, d, \mu\)) be a space of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman and Weiss. The concept and real variable characterization of the Musielak-Orlicz-Hardy space \(H^{\varphi}(\mathcal{X})\) was first introduced in [\textit{X.~Fu} et al., Ann. Acad. Sci. Fenn., Math. 45, No.~1, 343--410 (2020; Zbl 1437.42027)], namely \(\varphi:\mathcal{X}\times [0,+\infty)\longrightarrow [0,+\infty)\) is such that \(\varphi(x,\cdot)\) is an Orlicz function and \(\varphi(\cdot,t)\) is a Muckenhoupt \(A_{\infty}(\mathcal{X})\) weight.\N\NIn this article, the authors first establish a new molecular characterization of \(H^{\varphi}(\mathcal{X})\). As an application, the authors obtain the boundedness of Calderón-Zygmund operators from \(H^{\varphi}(\mathcal{X})\) into itself or from \(H^{\varphi}(\mathcal{X})\) to the Musielak-Orlicz space \(L^{\varphi}(\mathcal{X})\).
