Let \(G\) be a complex reductive algebraic group. The first two authors and Losev, have defined a finite set of irreducible \(G\)-equivariant Harish-Chandra bimodules, the unipotent representations, generalizing the special unipotent representations of Arthur and Barbasch-Vogan. These representations are defined in terms of filtered quantizations of symplectic singularities and are expected to form the building blocks of the unitary dual of \(G\). The authors provide a description of (some of) these representations in terms of the Langlands dual group \(G^{\vee}\). \N\NFor this, they construct a duality map \(D\) from the set of pairs \((\mathbb O^\vee, \bar{\mathcal C})\) consisting of a nilpotent orbit \(\mathbb O^\vee \subset \mathfrak g^{\vee}\) and a conjugacy class \(\bar{\mathcal C}\) in Lusztig's canonical quotient \(\bar{A}(\mathbb O^\vee)\) to the set of finite covers of nilpotent orbits in \(\mathfrak g^\star\). Precisely, among their results we mention: \N\Na) Assume \( (\mathbb O^\vee, \bar{\mathcal C}) \in \textrm{LA}^\star (G^\vee)\). Then, there is a unique minimal-length \(W\)-orbit \(\gamma (\mathbb O^\vee, \bar{\mathcal C}) \in \textrm{S}(\mathbb O^\vee, \bar{\mathcal C})\). Besides, \(\gamma (\mathbb O^\vee, \bar{\mathcal C})=\gamma (D(\mathbb O^\vee, \bar{\mathcal C}))\). \N\Nb) Assume that \(G\) is adjoint. Let \( (\mathbb O^\vee, \bar{\mathcal C}) \in \textrm{LA}^\star (G^\vee)\) and as usual \( (R^\vee, sZ^\circ, \mathbb O_{ R^\vee)})\). Then, there is a monoidal equivalence of categories \(\textrm{HC}^G(U(\mathfrak g)/I(D(\mathbb O^\vee, \bar{\mathcal C}))= \bar A (\mathbb O_{R^\vee } )-mod\). \N\NThis result implies that the unipotent representations attached to \(D(\mathbb O^\vee, \bar{\mathcal C})\) are in one to one correspondence with irreducible representations of \(\bar{A}(\mathbb O_{R^\vee})\). Here, \(\textrm{LA}(G)\) is the set of pairs \((\mathbb O,\bar{\mathcal C})\) of Lusztig-Achar datum for \(G\): \(\mathbb O\) is a nilpotent orbit in \(G\) and \(\bar{\mathcal C}\) a conjugacy class \(\bar A(\mathbb O)\). \(\textrm{S}(\mathbb O^\vee, \bar{\mathcal C})\) is a \(W\)-invariant subset of the Cartan subalgebra attached to a Lusztig-Achar datum.
