In this interesting paper, the authors obtain sharp \(L^{\infty}\) estimates for fully nonlinear PDEs on non-Kähler manifolds. The key ingredient is a comparison with an auxiliary Monge-Ampére equation. In comparison to the work [\textit{B. Guo} et al., Ann. Math. (2) 198, No. 1, 393--418 (2023; Zbl 1525.35121)], which addressed the Kähler case, here this is done on a ball with Dirichlet boundary conditions. The existence and regularity of the auxiliary problem employed follows from [\textit{L. Caffarelli} et al., Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 38, 209--252 (1985; Zbl 0598.35048)]. Adapting the arguments of \textit{Z. Błocki} [Sci. China, Math. 54, No. 7, 1375--1377 (2011; Zbl 1239.32032)], using weak Harnack inequalities for supersolutions of linear elliptic equations and an estimate of \textit{S. Kołodziej} [Acta Math. 180, No. 1, 69--117 (1998; Zbl 0913.35043)], global estimates can still be obtained from local estimates near a minimum.
