The author continues his study of infinite matrices and introduces new classes of matrices. The class \(\mathcal{B}(\mathbb{Z}^d, \mathbb{Z}^d)\) is contained in some known classes and consists of all matrices \(A := (a(i,j))\), \(i,j\in \mathbb{Z}^d\), satisfying the condition \(\| A\| = \sum_{k\in \mathbb{Z}^d}\to \Sigma \sup |a(i,j)| < \infty\), where \(|x|_{\infty}:= \max (|x_1|,\dots,|x_d|)\) and the summation is over all \(k\) with \(|k|_{\infty}\leq |i-j|_{\infty}\). This class is related to Beurling algebras: a sequence \((a(n))\), \(n\in \mathbb{Z}\), is the sequence of Fourier coefficients of a function in the Beurling algebra on the circle if and only if the matrix \(A := (a(i-j))\) is in \(\mathcal{B}(\mathbb{Z}, \mathbb{Z})\). \(\mathcal{B}(\mathbb{Z}^d, \mathbb{Z}^d)\) is a unital Banach algebra and is an inverse-closed subalgebra of \(\mathcal{B}(\ell^q_w)\), \(1\leq q<\infty\), where \(w\) is a discrete Muckenhoupt \(A_q\)-weight. A consequence of the last mentioned result is the Wiener lemma for the Beurling algebra on the circle. Some \(\ell^q_w\)-stability results for these matrices are also obtained. Topics discussed have applications in many areas -- Gabor time frequency analysis, wavelet frames, spline approximation, sampling, pseudo-differential operators, etc. For Part I see [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 359, No. 7, 3099--3123 (2007; Zbl 1131.47013)].
