The \emph{Bishop-Phelps-Bollobás property} (\textit{BPBp} in short) introduced by \textit{M. D. Acosta} et al. [J. Funct. Anal. 254, No. 11, 2780--2799 (2008; Zbl 1152.46006)] deals with the simultaneous approximation of an operator \(T\) and a vector \(x\) at which \(T\) almost attains its norm by an operator \(S\) and a vector \(y\) such that \(S\) attains its norm at \(y\). This property was motivated by a quantitative version of the Bishop-Phelps theorem given by \textit{B.~Bollobás} [Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 2, 181--182 (1970; Zbl 0217.45104)] and has attracted a lot of attention in the last few years. While a classical result by \textit{J. Bourgain} [Isr. J. Math. 28, 265--271 (1977; Zbl 0365.46021)] shows that the Radon-Nikodým property of the domain space is sufficient to get denseness of norm attaining operators, the case of the BPBp is different and, for instance, there are Banach spaces \(Y\) such that the pair \((\ell_1,Y)\) fails the BPBp. Actually, Banach spaces \(Y\) for which \((\ell_1,Y)\) has the BPBp where characterized in terms of a geometric property of the Banach space Y called the \textit{AHSP} [\textit{M. D. Acosta} et al., J. Funct. Anal. 254, No. 11, 2780--2799 (2008; Zbl 1152.46006)]. The paper under review shows that the AHSP is stable by finite products endowed with absolute norms, extending previous results where the case of two factors was studied (as in [\textit{F. J. Garcia-Pacheco}, Adv. Oper. Theory 2, No. 1, 17--20 (2017; Zbl 1377.46006); \textit{Y. S. Choi} et al., Mediterr. J. Math. 16, No. 3, Paper No. 73, 24 p. (2019; Zbl 1421.46009)]). Limitations of the possible extensions to infinite products are also presented.
