The Kohn-Nirenberg domain \[ \Omega:=\{(z,w)\in\mathbb C^2\,|\,\text{ Re } w+|zw|^2 +|z|^8+\frac{15}{7}|z|^2\text{ Re }z^6<0\} \] is an example of a complete hyperbolic pseudoconvex domain which does not admit a local holomorphic support function at the boundary point \((0,0)\). The authors show by explicit calculations that the group Aut \(\Omega\) of biholomorphic automorphisms of \(\Omega\) is the cyclic group of order \(6\), generated by the restriction of the linear automorphism \((z,w)\mapsto(e^{\frac{\pi}{3}i}z,w)\) of \(\mathbb C^2\) to \(\Omega\). They show that every \(f\in\) Aut \(\Omega\) leaves the origin fixed in the sense that there is a sequence of points \(q_i\) in \(\Omega\) with \(\lim_{i\rightarrow \infty} q_i=(0,0)\) and \(\lim_{i\rightarrow\infty}f(q_i)=(0,0)\). They use the fact that \(f\) can be extended to a neighborhood of the origin, cf. \textit{F. Berteloot} [Contemp. Math. 137, 79--83 (1992; Zbl 0781.32027)], the hyperbolicity of \(\Omega\), cf. \textit{H. Gaussier} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 127, No. 1, 105--116 (1999; Zbl 0912.32025)], and prove a uniqueness theorem for automorphisms of \(U:=\{z\in\mathbb C\,|\,(z,0)\in\Omega\,\}\), an open set bounded by six lines through the origin.
