The article refers to the linear wave equation with real-valued scalar potential in dimension two. Under some special assumptions and by means of different combinations, a sequence of Strichartz estimates is obtained. One proves reversed Strichartz estimates, ordinary Strichartz estimates, weighted integrable-in-time decay estimates, pointwise \( t^{-1/2}\) decay estimates. As the author claims, in the present paper he presents improvements of results published in [\textit{W. R. Green}, J. Differ. Equations 257, No. 3, 868--919 (2014; Zbl 1297.35035)].
