For automorphisms of polynomial rings or power series over a field of characteristic zero, there are well known inversion formulas. The author writes down inversion formulas even in positive characteristics which are somewhat technical. The author also has similar formulas for automorphisms of ring of differential operators of polynomial rings, which are known to be much richer than the case in zero characteristic.
