On interpersonal utility comparisons
From MaRDI portal
The paper discusses basic conceptual difficulties involved in establishing interpersonal comparison of utility levels and utilty differences. The discussion is of a general rather than of a technical nature. No definite results are put forward, but the author tends to hold the view that no satisfactory solution to the comparison has been provided so far.
